|
|
Hello all,
I'm looking to get an MA in Linguistics and I'd like to do it in Japan if possible.
I know Sophia Univ in Tokyo offers it but it's a private school so tuition is outrageous. There is Temple Univ branches in Tokyo/Osaka but they only offer Linguistics Phd and also require GRE tests for admission which are not available in my current country.
So far Tohoku Univ which my Japanese friend from Sendai recommended looks real good if I can get accepted. Tuition is reasonable and the school has a good reputation.
However, I'm looking for other options as well in case that doesn't work out.
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks! |

It appears Kanda Univ is even more expensive than Sophia. A public university seems the way to go. There must be some more in Japan that offer an MA in linguistics. |

By in Japan, you mean at a Japanese university, not just while working in Japan? If not there are plenty of universities that offer distance learning MAs with better name recognition than Japanese universities. |
