I found this at another forum which is the most I can find on this ESL/TEFL Teach Blacklist thing:

Supposedly you can get blacklisted as a teacher for one of these reasons:

1.) HABITUAL TARDINESS

2.) MIDNIGHT RUN

3.) THREATS OR VIOLENCE

4.) ALCOHOL ABUSE

5.) SEXUAL HARASSMENT OF TAs OR STAFF

6.) MAKING PUBLIC ALLEGATIONS

7.) SUBSTANCE ABUSE

8.) THEFT

9.) GENERAL MISCHIEF OR NON COMPLIANCE

My question is what qualifies as "general mischief" and "non compliance"??? Kind of vague if you ask me. Anyway, one of the suggestions made at another forum is to reapply for a visa using your middle name and they claim it works.

For example, say you worked under the name written on your passport as Earl R. Weaver. Apply to another school as E. Robert Weaver and send them a resume that matches and you will get an invitation letter in the "new" entity that is not flagged in their computer system.
