hi larry! what exactly did you study, maybe that will help you get gooder
answers. what this one of those degrees 'earned' by athaletes? did you
get a degree in 'university studies'?

hi larry! that means nothing. in most us schools, you need 120 credits to
graduate. 90 of those classes are the same for most majors. 90 out of
120 is 75%! the other 30 credits, the so-called 'core curriculum' is dependable
by major.
so my bs information systems is 75% the same courses as a bs accounting!
it's also 75% the same as marketing, and 75% the same as...... |

Where did you get your degree? From a box of Crackerjacks? |

In other news I'm planning on converting my two years of playing Resident Evil 4 on Nintendo Wii back in the day to a PhD in Information Technology from Corllins University.
It's the new Concordia!
This time tomorrow I'll be Dr. Toast.

What's the likelihood our kindly overlords would check the validity of one of those suckers, I wonder? |

Better (real) schools will check. If you are lying about having an education degree to get into a teaching job, you shouldn't be there anyway.
I've never heard off a school that gives degrees with no major, so I'm guessing this is a wind up. If not, obviously it's wrong to say you have an education degree when you don't. But whatever.... |

| Many universities (varies by country) offer a three year Bachelor's degree, with no major, usually annotated as BA (Gen). |

BS University Studies. these are often "earned" by athaletes. it was also
the goatskin my commanding officer had on his office wall....from some
university in connecticut. (he was really pissed when the first sgt asked
me to tutor him, poor fellow was failing his off-campus masters program.
can't make major without a masters!)
see here:
"The University Studies Program is an interdisciplinary academic program. Texas Tech University's Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in University Studies are not one-size-fits-all degree programs. Areas of concentration and the coursework used to build them are as dynamic and versatile as our students' futures. B.A. or B.S. in University Studies students are given the opportunity to build a program of study by selecting areas of concentration from any of Texas Tech's academic colleges. The choice is yours;,,,"
http://www.depts.ttu.edu/universitystudies/
and here:
"The University Studies Degree provides students with an opportunity to explore their interests with a degree that allows a breadth of study in a range of disciplines and subjects and provides basic preparation for a variety of career paths that might not be well served through traditional university majors. ..."

My degree is in psychology people, but some reason, it doesn't specify that on the degree. Perhaps a mistake by the university, or maybe they just don't put it on there...I don't know, nor care at the moment.
And yes, 10 classes, or 30 credits is largely irrelevant in undergrad, especially when its years after college. Not to mention that of all my courses that I remember taking...education related courses were by far the easiest.
To say that someone is more qualified on the sole basis of these minimal education courses (and lets say 10 years after college give or take)- with no in-class is pretty ridiculous. |

You have a BS in psychology, but the degree does not state the area of study? That's bizarre.
What university or college did you attend? |

| If it really doesn't matter, why don't you just say your degree is in psych? Oh that right it DOES matter. That's why you are willing to fraudulently represent your qualifications. Taking ten classes (your number) towards the field your working in is a lot. |
