I'm looking for temporary summer work in China. I've got a couple of leads, but not many.
I'm thinking if you're reading this and you're actually IN China already, you might know of some work that isn't advertised here. |

Always lots of work in the Summer - many foreigners go home, all the students are off, the parents want to keep them busy - bonanza time for mills and tutors. I worked in a mill one summer hated it but earned 60k RMB in two months - some mighty long days mind, 9 to 5 normal 9 to 9 frequent.
Another option is the university summer schools. This summer I will be doing 4 x 40 min classes Monday to Friday for 5 weeks. 200 per class Simple stuff, 830 - 1130 am. Gonna have some privates as well. Looking to pull in 50 K for 2 months x 4/5 hour days.
I dunno how people usually find such offers - I usually get them thru networking. Our FAO is often instrumental in lining up summer gigs |
