Another year in Shanghai
1)
Last year I used http://buy.echinacheesycities.com/
I am getting less results now. Where do people go to for cheese now?
I am looking for cheese in the east of China.
2)
Obviously I am not asking about where I can get cheese! Obviously I am asking if you think there are fewer offers of cheese this year compared to last year.
3)
No, obviously you are wrong! The shortage of cheese is obviously inexplicable. Obviously it has nothing to do with vendors having sold their supply already so they can go on holiday. That's an obviously crazy idea, why would they do that?!
4)
I repeat, I want you to agree with me that less cheese is being sold this year than last year (obviously). This obvious fact is very important. It obviously makes all the difference. Because the amount of cheese offered last year obviously affects my chances of buying cheese right now. Obviously! |

Of course I am going to reply to the stupidity. Easy win.
"Another year in Shanghai"
I don't know where you draw the horizontal line, but shanghai is not north.
"1) Last year I used http://buy.echinacheesycities.com/

Comparing ESL teaching to cheese is fallacious in itself, but to only cite one site shows you didn't read the premise. What I stated was the sites I went to overall last year seemed to show more offers in July than now this year at the beginning of June/end of May. Cheese is a product that goes bad, and even though a job may go bad too, you can at least eat the cheese quicker. Anyway, the point wasn't the quality of job it was more a question of which offers are there this year compared to last year. That is what you failed to "digest".
I suggest you refrain from "cheesy" replies and try for quality next time. Perhaps stop being a salty cracker?
"2) Obviously I am not asking about where I can get cheese! Obviously I am asking if you think there are fewer offers of cheese this year compared to last year."
I am all for where I can get a job. Do you have anything to contribute in a positive manner? If so, share. If not, look dumb trying I guess in the meantime.
"3) No, obviously you are wrong! The shortage of cheese is obviously inexplicable. Obviously it has nothing to do with vendors having sold their supply already so they can go on holiday. That's an obviously crazy idea, why would they do that?!"
If you are comparing cheese to english jobs, then the supply would not diminish by holiday time. Anyone who goes shopping during the holiday time can buy products and these are usually on sale due to the nature of it being holiday. So, you fail with using this comment on two counts. The higher priced or valued items such as a new iphone or computer/laptop would be the item that sells out, not the cheese on the shelf. Or, is that your point? You are hung up on quality again and only referring to what you think is "the best".
As stated, I am finishing a non-cheese job but want a different location. No vendor is sold out here, and the job is not cheese. The vendor might not even know about this quality of product or service until after holiday period. The vendor also is going to return.
You lose again by not considering this. Let's see what your next ill-equipped retort is.
"4) I repeat, I want you to agree with me that less cheese is being sold this year than last year (obviously). This obvious fact is very important. It obviously makes all the difference. Because the amount of cheese offered last year obviously affects my chances of buying cheese right now. Obviously!"
I never stated I wanted people to agree with me. A few smarter people have private messaged me and suggested some things to get a new job I haven't tried yet. Regardless if I agree or not with them, they are alternatives and I will keep them in mind. I thank them for the message. You? What positive thing have you done? Look stupid? Build someone else's ego? Not sure.
"Because the amount of cheese offered last year obviously affects my chances of buying cheese right now. Obviously!"
Yea, that's what I meant. I was not asking about a comparison but cause and effect. I was not asking if people noticed a change in 2014, but I was specifically declaring that my success in 2013 should influence my success in 2014.
If you actually think that, then I have swamp land to sell you. chunkocheese, you have successfully avoided the intent of my original post and subsequent posts to clarify myself. Way to go. Instead of positively posting with info, you made comments way out in left field. Congratulations. |

The trolling, off-topic, contentious and derailing comments are going to cease immediately on the China boards or the makers of said comments are going to be leaving us permanently along with their ISPs.
If you posted on this thread to include ridiculous "cheese" comments, you may assume you are presently reading your very last opportunity to do things correctly here in the future.
Members observing inappropriate comments are requested to advise the Mod Team by report post or PM without delay.
This thread is now locked thanks to those who may not be with us in the very near future unless they get their act together yesterday. |
