Hey there.
I am currently an ESL teacher in Korea. End of this contract will be my second year here. I have my BA in English, and am a Certified Teacher back home in Canada(B.Ed). First year in Korea was at a Language institute, this year is at a high school.
I am very interested in working over in Vietnam, and was wondering what the job specs were like over there. Salary/Hourly? Apartment/Flight-Provided or purchased yourself? Teaching hours? Vacation? Got a great gig here in Korea, but its time to move on...
Sorry, know you guys probably get this a hella lot...but if you could give me a ballpark idea, or point me to a link that would, I would be most grateful.
Cheers.

Both available.

Generally you will pay yourself with an 'End of Contract' bonus.
Lots of evenings and weekends, but if you are willing to work multiple jobs you can work days and have weekends off - or if you wind up at an international school.
At will. |

Hey CC,
Not sure about other areas of Vietnam, but Ho Chi Minh City seems to have a fairly big demand for teachers with a variety of types of opportunities: language schools, international schools, companies, privates, etc.
You might consider coming down and having a look. With your credentials you should have no problem finding work in a week or so. |
