Has anyone used a VPN in KSA? If so, how effective is/was it?

Of course, you can use the VPN in the Magic Kingdom to escape the surveillance radar of KACST, and send private messages to your girlfriend! Laughing

Several inappropriate postings have been deleted. Future ones including those that ridicule will result in permanent bans.

I kid you not.

I installed in-Kingdom and haven't had any notable problems.

Tho, I'm told installing outside is the better route, just in case.

privateinternetaccess works well here and is relatively inexpensive for an annual subscription.

IP Vanish was less reliable.

FYI speed tests show greater bandwidth when connected to a VPN than when not.

Strong is okay, not the best. Sometimes they don't deliver what you are paying for. Sometimes their service is great, other times, it's not so good. Sometimes you think it's working when in fact you're still logged on through an IP in the Kingdom. I don't know what else to say. I had better luck with it when I was in China.

Who the hell is coming onto this forum to troll someone with a question about VPN providers? GET A LIFE, REALLY.

Maybe that's been your experience, but it hasn't been mine. I've found Strong to be excellent and reliable.

And doesn't the fact that you're in KSA mean you don't have a life? And isn't a VPN a way to help create a semblance of a life?

More of a loss of patience with a poster who has asked dozens of common questions... but has refused to share any information as to who he is and why he is asking.
