Hi There-
I just finished the online application. I want to be proactive and contact Westgate. Does anyone work there/have a contact?
Appreciate the help-Matt |

I applied to see what would happen and no response since late June. |

Be careful not to overdo the whole "proactive" thing.
When I applied to Westgate, I went to their offices, talked my way into the President's office, drew a sword, and threatened to disembowel myself on the spot if they didn't hire me. It didn't work. |

Just be patient. Sometimes they are a little slow in replying. |

If you get a job with them, after a few months, try looking for a university or high school to hire you directly.
Westgate and other recruiting agencies will not have your back in even the slightest dispute with the school where you work at. They always side with the client. For Westgate, its teachers are readily expendable. Just make money off your back. |
