Hi again, I mention this as it is becoming bigger in the Arab World
(English for military staff) ....fairly common in Saudi , etc.

Mention it as I left Japan about 2001. Being post-9/11 I put back on the US uniform for a while. Worked some in languages that way and still very competent to teach English.

Had decent rank when I "seperated" & did hae some contact with arious Jietai in Iraq & East Africa (Yes! J_navy is there !)

...so thinking if any teaching to military exist, may have a decent chance at landing a post , since they would need to know the jargon as well as learning English. A shot in the dark ....but may be worth a look.

thnx, jay (Dosanko-Twisted Evil- Ranningu-Boy) Very Happy

Korea would be a better bet.
Part-time at Yokosuka is all I have seen, and just once a week.

I know that the SDF academies have English classes, outsourced to dispatch companies. I think Interac used to have the contract but this was years ago so I'm sure it's changed. I knew a guy who worked at camp Kodaira, said that it was a pretty good gig with very disciplined students.
