It has been said that EGA/INTERLINK has lost the contract for three sites; Yanbu, Al Hasa and Arar. The question is did they lose the sites because of local management at the sites. Afterall, a Regional Director was in charge in Yanbu. He's not supposed to lose the contract. Or, could they be being punished for transgressions at other sites and they just chose three of the top of their head. Another Regional Director in charge of the GYP program in Jeddah was in charge when most of his teachers left after the second class. The school was basically vacant after lunch. This went on for a year and a half. He had to know or he just didn't care. TVTC was paying for three classes a day and letting his teachers leave after the second class is stealing from TVTC. They paid for three and got two with the knowledge and collusion of the Site Director. He would have to be stupid, incompetent or afraid. Whatever way, he shouldn't be working in Saudi Arabia. Actually stealing money like that from a company could land someone in Jail and permanently left handed. EGA/INTERLINK defrauded TVTC. TVTC has a laudable goal of educating the Saudi youth but it becomes very difficult when companies like EGA/INTERLINK knowingly engage in fraud on their program. Other questiions remain. Did the top management in Riyadh know about this theft and also did INTERLINK in the US also know about this fraud by the GYP Site Director in Jeddah. If they did, then they should be thrown out of the country and banned for as long as possible. Is this the way to do business? I think not and anybody who is considering working for EGA/INTERLINK should give second, third and fourth thouughts about being employed by a company with a record of Fraud.

Fraud and corruption is rampant in the muddle east.

I worked for a British company that charged the gov't for first class tickets to London regularly. They also charged the gov't for a non-existent office in London. They got caught and didn't get their contract renewed.

Of course we all lost out jobs.

A local friend told me about a non-local Arab, who was supposed to take care of the financial matters of an older, prominent local. One fine day, the local decided to "visit" his money, many millions. The bank told him he had only a few thousand in his account and a record of international transfers.

I asked my friend why they trust these non-locals. His response was that they don't, but they depend on these people to provide young girls (from Pakistan, Morocco, etc.) for the locals.

Talk about obscene corruption!

Surprised I think I'm playing it safe from now on, I'm investing in Pacific Tycoons with their safe 12 % guaranteed income from shipping containers. Laughing

"young girls from Pakistan and Morocco" Pakistanis only allow women to go there under the well-protected eyes/sponsorship of fathers, brothers, and husbands. haha, Morocco? Saudi women are so jealous of their counterparts as they say" Moroccan women the best/most beautiful women in Arab world", Anyone to second that?
once I took a flight from Dubai to Riyadh, 3/4 of the seats were taken by very pretty slim and young ( 20-25 range) Pakistani girls ( sans black cloaks and scarfs, just a skirt suit, make up and nice hairstyle, I was surprised to see that many Pakistani girls who were that cute and pretty)) who were joining the national air line for training in Jeddah HQ. I thought female flight attendants were not allowed on the national airline, and someone said that it would be for int'l route.

There are lots of female flight attendants on Saudi Arabian Airlines. All are non-Saudi. The Airline has a part of Saudia City - a residential compound in Khaledeya - for their use.

A father of one of these girls who has six daughters with weddings to pay for might take an offer of "marriage" to rich gulf man for a large payment.

Yes, I second it that Moroccan women are very attractive. They are more Berber blood than Arab. The berbers are the poorer segment of the Moroccan population and are more likely to take this offer than the more affluent Arab segment.
