I would suggest to him that he do his job and find out for you. Put it to him this way, if he doesn't know what to do how are you supposed to know? Seizing the initiative is not always a strong point in this country. |

Hatcher, a CRC from China or from Canada?
If from China, any particular place in China? Also, there is a forum with lots of recent information for FTs in China, including CRCs. Now if only I could remember the name...
If from Canada, I got the information in less than 5 minutes by looking in a very obvious place and following links (and my internet is slow right now). Clue: what place might help Canadians abroad?
Seriously, did you try looking before asking? |

I had a check on www.mybackcheck.com and the HR guy at the school rejected it.
He says it needs a seal? I asked him to name the company or org from canada he needs... he didnt know.
So I am asking other canadians what they submitted. |

Hatcher, of course he needs a seal, not sure why the "?".
Now, for the 2nd time, what region is this for? This is very relevant information. E.g. regarding the seal, if it is for a school in a coastal region, say Shanghai, the seal will more than likely be of the aquatic mammal variety and you can get hold of one at the local aquarium. However, if the school is in a non-costal region, then the seal will probably be of the silicon in a tube type. It is very important to get this right, you can look very silly trying to balance an aquatic mammal on your paperwork when all you needed was a blob of silicon.
Seriously, where is the school? Other Canadians and some non-Canadians from that area may be able to give you specific, useful information if they know this. |

If you're in China and want a criminal record check from Canada, you have to do the following:
1. Go online, download and print the RCMP's fingerprint sheet for criminal record checks. I believe it is called a 216-C.
2. Go to a local police station, election office, or somewhere official that has the ability to roll your fingerprints and will sign their section of the form.
3. Fill out the rest of your form, then mail it back to an agency in Canada that will convert the ink prints to digital ones, which then get sent to the RCMP, and will be sent back to the address you put on the form.
A quick search will yield a list of companies in Canada that perform the conversion, and most charge about $150.
Hope this helps! |

Easiest way to get the correct answer is to know the locality of the school? |
