|
|
Hello hopefully someone can answer my question
Me and a friend shall be heading to Thailand for the next school year (currently in China) however my friend needs to take some specialist medication for his kidneys. I have been to Thailand 3 times before so I know in Bangkok theres access to almost anything so I assume its possible to get all types of medication ??
If so anyone got info on where he could get it ??
Many thanks |

Bumrungrad Hospital is an American run hospital and an associated hospital to Cedar Sinai in California. It's relatively inexpensive which is why people come to it from all over the world. As far as just getting the drug from one of the many pharmacies in Thailand, if I were your friend I would not do that in Thailand. Thai street pharmacies are a part of the rip off culture in Thailand and are inundated with fake drugs. For drugs that are for serious medical problems I would go to a hospital pharmacy, which means your friend will have to see a doctor at a hospital. For a serious kidney problem I would go to Bumrungrad. |

Bumrungrad is excellent. Definitely one of the better hospitals I've been to both in Thailand and America. Relatively affordable as well (at least compared to American standards, ha). |
