What to do when you see a vacancy advertised which you know involves very late salary payment, deception on where you'll be living?? I am seeing it now. Torn. I worry for anyone who takes this job offer

As far as warning people, I don't know that there's much you can do. I doubt that TNH is very responsive to complaints or reports.

You could name and shame the school here, both on the off chance someone does their research, and for our entertainment.

Create a page for them if they don't have one on new Hanoian and write a review about the school. Alternatively if they already have a page then write a review on their link. That way you can warn us all with your horror stories.

I hope you go to that site and post your experience on their page. If this school doesn't have a page, please create one.

Also, write about your experience here on this board and name them - after of course - you've been paid.

There are a lot of dishonest schools in Hanoi. Actually, they are thieves.

I am thinking about it. I would urge anyone moving and taking jobs in and from Hanoi to check. My experience is submission date of paperwork for pay claim was very misleading. Employer stated near mid-month that end of month was submission date of registers etc and then near end of month they simply invented a new submission date which was infact only 4 days after my start date near mid month..so, at the month end when I submitted everything for pay claim as per instructions at start of employment, I was suddenly deemed to be two weeks late in making a pay claim. I had only followed their advice near middle of month which was when I started work for them....the school knew at the end of the month that I had taught every class up to month end and were in near daily contact with class. They invented two different deadlines and held up my pay by a week. Only threats worked in the end. I walked eventually. They are a nightmare. Other lies on hours and gross lies on accommodation. These pigs advertise often.
