I am not your friend.
You make the assumption that people other than Chinese are dense. An illegal contract in ANY country is not binding and I think most people in their right minds are fully aware of this.
If the contract is illegal or broken one can walk away with impunity and without paying your in-laws because the good old Chinese justice system is completely impartial. Even when some pretty terminal decisions are made behind closed doors in just a few short hours. |

So what bottle of knowledge did you drink to automatically know what constitutes an illegal contract in China? The nine items I quoted are just the more common ones. There are 27 other legal requirements of a Chinese employment contract but since you already know them, I will let you enlighten the others.
And no, as I stated earlier... I make no assumptions in life - especially in China! |

In all due respect, I ask you: do you believe in Santa Klaus as well? The SAFEA does not regulate or enforce rules (I have extensive experience trying to deal tith, get the attention of and get a response from that deaf, dumb, blind, toothless f*rting dog), and the schools I've worked for seem not to know what SAFEA is, even though the contracts' covers are reprints of reprints of reprints of SAFEA covers.
Don't even mention SAFEA. |

| I never said SAFEA enforces anything in China but they do define and determine the standards that the PSB and other police agencies enforce (at their seemingly random, or at times, selective discretion) and the Ministry of Education abides by. But I do agree with you that they are not an organization that will run to your rescue in times of distress. |
