Hi, I have an offer to teach as part of a team in the Buckland International Group in China. the contract seems pretty good, a fair few bonuses such as paid holidays, guided tours, chinese lessons etc. I was wondering if anybody had heard of this group before or had any dealings with them, and how did they find them?
Thanks
Cristy Wink

Owen of Buckland has a relatively good reputation, but the proviso is that he may not hire you for his own school but act as an agent on behalf of someone else, in which case you will have to sign a new contract with that taker and see whether it is as goodas the one OWen is pushing your way.
Generally speaking, Owen tries his best to satisfy foreign techers; he will take your interest into account. If a school backslides on contractual obligations he will goafter them.
That is one thing going for him! (And for hardly anyone else...)
