3000 Sterling is okay - if you are getting free accommodation and ticketing and health insurance. Not so great if you have dependants who need to be sent to school.
This does not apply to Parrots who either have no parrotlings or kick them out of the nest at an early age,. |

With an Iqama? Because if not, I am pretty sure that would mean they can let you go at any minute. |

Unless KSA has passed some kind of omnibus worker protection law...which is HAS NOT, an iqama has nothing to do with it.
I worked with many an inmate, iqama firmly in hand, then plucked, whom they had on out-going flights within 24 hours... |

Student: Go break time, teacher?
3000GBP = 18,000SAR = Great salary, especially if single. I've never come across a job here where an employee has to pay for housing. The average salary for a male Saudi is 4,500SAR and there are unknown stacks of them on the dole/welfare. |

It depends upon if you're talking concrete terms regarding Saudi Arabia or True Value. |

My formula for deciding whether to accept a job in Saudi:
Amount I'm able to save per month in Saudi - Amount I can save per month elsewhere - the value of my happiness > 0
or
KSA - X - H > 0
Then take the job.
In other words, don't go to KSA for any other reason than a good income. Even the chance to visit Mecca and Medina are not worth the misery. |

| I like it here. Lot of freetime, no paperwork really, good social life, save a lot of money. What is there not to like? |

Regarding your question, there are many whole lists on the forum.
Now the question what is their to like? Imagine a giant water balloon coming down towards the ground. Its on a different planet with not very much gravity, so it moves slowly. It has a very thin skin. |
