Hi everyone,
I have a full length beard and I love it. My heart would be broken if I trimmed it. It's not messy. I groom it everyday to look smart and neat.
What are the chances of being hired in Turkey with a full length beard?
From what I've read, secular Turkish dislike anything that symbolises Islam as they believe it's backward.
Is this true? |

It would come down to the salary, at least for me. Most teaching jobs in Turkey pay rather low, so I wouldn't touch it. However, things change as salary increases. For, say, 2600-2800 USD a month, I'd trim it. For 3200+ a month, I'd even shave it. What I'm really saying is I think you'd be fine as you are. |

there are plenty of school of a religious bent who would I'm sure bend over backwards to accommodate a flowing long beard. Try fatih university or FSM uni off the top of my head |
