Curious what issues I might have using an Ipod Touch in Vietnam - specifically, I'm curious if I can buy apps, music etc from there without any issues via WiFi? I guess I'd also like to add that I'd go to Vietnam w/ the Touch all set up with an existing US account.
Regards

Tie whatever credit card has the furthest out expiration date to your Apple ID before you leave the US and don't change any info after you get here. If you change anything with your Apple ID, Apple will force you to the Vietnam Store. Most apps are the same but a few are missing and of course there are Vietnamese apps as well. The big problem is that you can't buy paid apps on the Vietnam store unless you have a Vietnamese credit card. After being frozen out, I was only able to get back into the US store by using a VPN on my desktop, in effect fooling Apple that I was in the US. Of course this won't work if you are planning on using public wi-fi.

Thanks TRH,
I appreciate the feedback.
I guess if I was on a true computer I could go the VPN route but even guest houses where I've been would show up as not in the US. The Vietnam credit card might be complicated - I've got excellent credit in the US but I doubt it means much there.
Again thanks for the advice and I'll check out the other link.
