|

Hello All
I am currently doing my post graduate teacher certification and will be finished with my practicum in May before taking the state exams (in the USA in Florida) in late July. I am applying for the PNET for 2015.
Does the HK Bd of Ed. make a big distinction between PGDE and a teaching license. Some of the reading seems repetitive?
It takes around 3-5 months for the state to process "everything" and issue licenses in Florida.
If accepted would NOT having my license in hand for around 4 months affect my initial salary?
Thanks |

Yes, if you don't have the correct paper work, your salary will be affected. You will start at the lower salary point of someone without a teaching degree but once you submit the papers and they are checked, the EDB should give you back pay to cover the 4 months you were at the lower salary. |
