In a thread entitled "China or Chingland" NYOB accused MW of plagiarism by quoting from other's materials without proper footnotes.

I catagorically state that everything I post anywhere is something I hold co-author copywrite to and have the legal write to publish. Any quotes within my work is properly atributed to its original author.

In fact, everything I have posted in this forum is in final editing for Class "A" journal publication, except my personal extemperaneous comments.

Criminal libel is prosecutable here in China and includes falsely accusing someone of a crime, (which copywrite infringement is in China), or, disparaging someone in their profession.

Before this matter goes any further, an opportunity is hereby offered to NOYB to cite the alleged plagerized materials along with the names of the original authors.

Failing in this attempt as I know he will, he is given this opportunity to retract his maliscious statement. You should know that a formal demand for retraction, which this is, is prerequisite to a prosecution if the demand is not heeded.

Frankly, the monitor should know the criminal libel law of China and not have allowed the posting in the first place. The monitor should do his job or turn in his uniform.
