So, Denise, which was tougher to survive? The Dave Blackout or the Niigata rains?

The Niigata floods didn't affect me personally, except for the 30 seconds or so that the Mariners' game was interrupted due to fuzzy reception. And the flood-water-dirtied river over which I bungee jumped over the weekend, but that was in Yamagata-ken.

Other towns here seem to have fared much worse, though... They're still trying to dry themselves out.

Baseball!!! I'm right jealous. China really doesn't have its priorities straight when it comes to sports on TV.
