|
|
So, I really would love to work in Kazakhstan(or many other CIS countries, too in Eurasia). Here are my qualifications. I am a Native English Speaker(US passport holder), have the Cambridge CELTA certification from International House, an Associate's Degree in Education, and an additional 120 Hour TEFL Certification that specialized in all aspects of TEFL(Business, Children, General, Grammar).I also have over a year's of teaching experience. I have worked in Ukraine teaching adults at the largest language center in the country and currently work at a primary school in China where I teach English, Science and Social Studies.
Please help me! My goal is to be there in August, September or January of next year. |

I'd advise you to look for jobs online. Occasionally stuff pops up on TEFL.com. I just looked and there's a job there now.
A simple google search into what schools are in Astana or Almaty wouldn't go amiss. I was in Almaty over the summer and I passed a fair few English schools. Get their email addresses from their websites and drop them an email.
I really don't think anyone can suggest anything other than the obvious. I really hope that you've already done what I have suggested. |

I have looked at many jobs online but received no responses. I would like to know though if anyone has any email addresses or contacts to these schools/companies/Universities? I neglected to mention I'm living in China, so my access and resources are quite limited. I do use a VPN on my internet here, but it is not reliable. So, any information I could get would seriously be great |

There are lots of language centres in Almaty. Main ones would be:
Interpress (the local IH school) has about 7 centres now across the city and is often recruiting teachers.
Study Inn, has 2 or 3 centres there.
Education First.
M&K languages.
Yes English school.
With your quals, you'd have no problems. |
