I have a job offer in Guangzhou this August. My question is, my employer is insisting that I dont need a Z visa until I get into China. So he wants me to come over on a Travel Visa. Does this sound right? Or should I insist on a working visa before I go over?

| I was offered a job in China also and I was asked to get a travel visa for three months and that the school would transfer it to a Z visa. |

Yeah, why the heck don't you guys first check old posts on the same, or similar topics???
If your employer PROMISES IN WRITING that he will apply for your work visa in Guangzhou (and he must have the relevant licences) then I can't see what your worry is all about! |
