Apparently my CELTA apostille will not be returned at the end of my contract from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Is this usual?

What is your legal remedy ? Raising an action against the Ministry ? Good luck with that one !

What country are we talking about ?

No legal remedy but naming and shaming is something I suppose.

If it's a country in the Middle East, to assume that "shaming" will follow "naming" in this case is, I'd say, a misplaced hope.
