CELTA Galapagos are offering a training and volunteering course. The cost is $1,980 which gets you 2 months accommodation + a 4 week CELTA course + 4 weeks volunteering to teach community English classes on the Galapagos.
The programme is being backed by the Galapagos authorities who desperately want to improve the English teaching offered locally, but currently lack suitably skilled teachers.
I have no connection with this course, other than thinking it would be a great opportunity for anyone considering taking a CELTA course. Courses run 8 June to 3 July, 6 July to 31 July and 3 August to 28 August.

Hi, Thanks for the info. The link you gave doesn't mention this two-month program? Did they send you an email, or how did you hear about it? I just want to have an idea before I contact them. Thanks. |
