Jimpellow; Thanks for sharing your experiences. I had already done my pre-medical when I was in Trinidad.
I think I paid about $150 for it. Prices on the Island of Trinidad are generally much more expensive indeed! That's a little surprising to
learn that I didn't actually need the pre-med! In regards to your other post, I have already had my background check sent by courier to China and would prefer to avoid having to return to the UK if there is another option.
JamesD; I did complete a form which specifies the country where I would apply for the visa. The country can not be
changed without having to submit the paper work again by my school in China.
The issue for me is that even though the Chinese embassy in Mexico inform me that I can apply for the visa with them as a non-resident, it does not mean that my school in China will be issued with the letter of invitation I require without providing proof of residency for Mexico.
I will keep you updated when I have more news. |
