| I dunno about being more widespread. It serms to me that there's high demand for both. But kiddies are more stable, and are usually fixed times, either as lessons in their school, or private lesson after the school day. Fewer cancellations, generally. It's just most teachers don't really like these classes, or are just not used to them. I find dealing with the parents as much work as the little 'uns. |

The really good (i.e. well paid) jobs with kids require you to be qualified in your home country. Therefore unless you are planning on returning to UK/USA/Aus etc and doing a degree in childhood learning or whatever, I very much doubt you will qualify for any of the jobs you are probably looking at.
I'm still really curious how you think having friends in Moscow can help you with a visa??? I'm married to a Russian and it doesn't help me, so I'm not sure how a friend can help? Care to explain? |

I'm not just looking at 1 or 2 positions, I've probably emailed almost EVERY institution in the entire city. So it's not like I'm looking exclusively at the private international schools and oligarch manny jobs!
I just have friends in good places, that's all I'll say for now. |

| I hope they are good friends in good places. Will need a serious amount of influence to circumvent visa requirements... |

Maybe it's Putin's daughter.
The owner of the school (Sergei Gutsait) I just worked in was really buddy buddy with Putin. He has photos of the two of them all over school. He owns Mandrogi (check it if you don't know this place - an entire themed village). He also owns many many restaurants and bars. He also owns Zamok BIP, a castle built by Paul I in Pavlovsk. My wife and I got married and had the reception there last summer for 10% of the cost. The house where we lived (teacher's house) is next to the castle, the former servants quarters. He was at the Maidan in Kiev last year... enough said.
The whole point of writing this is to explain that we knew him personally, we worked for him, he gave us 90% discount on our wedding. He is an oligarch and a personal friend of Putin. He still couldn't do us any favours with visas.
Whatever people are promising you I would take with a pinch of salt. You would need an incredibly powerful person to be able to help you obtain an illegal visa. Would such a person be willing to put their career on the line for you? And let's say you personally know such a person, what would they expect in return?
Edward Snowden struggled to get papers to stay in Russia and can't stay here beyond his visa terms. Don't mean to be rude, but I don't think you are more important than him
As for the work, an oligarch nanny job is a possibility, if you are lucky. Having said that, some families are utter pains to work with. The school I mentioned above is a private boarding school for boys (a continuation of the lyceum of Tsarskoe Selo - or so they claim) and we dealt with super rich people every day. It's not all sh1ts and giggles, I assure you. |

| Maybe citizenship can be obtained from the same agency linked elsewhere? |

And dancing bears serving vodka will wait on you at your induction into the inner circle.
It's all part of the $3000 service... |

| The 'woman' is called Rashidi and comes from Accra. He drives around in a flash Mercedes and wears a swanky Rolex. Never been to an embassy in his life except for when procuring his visa for lush holidays to the Maldives twice a year. |
