My school is dragging its ass my new rez permit...
How tough is it to do? Can I get someone else other than our useless HR man?
Can I get it done in HK? or must the 2nd one be in Canada, my home. |

How long has it been?
Ours have taken close to a month so far, we haven't got our passports back as yet, and our FAO is really on the ball, hard working and efficient.
In the last couple of years the whole process has been slowed down a lot by new regulations and obviously more paperwork which means more things that can go wrong through the process and need repeating.....blah blah blah |

My new semester starts Sept 1 and my RP expires Aug 31. The school told us to be back before the 31th. They said as long as we reenter China by 11:50pm Aug 31 we will be ok.
Ummm sounds like a set up |

Don't they need to apply for your Rez permit before it expires? So surely you should be back a few days early. No point in taking any risks. |
