That payment package isn't much different than mine in Shanghai. Like others have said, there are lots of variables to take into consideration.
I save about 15k rmb monthly. I have a co-worker that saves nothing. Depends on you and your habits/goals. |

They are not in mainland China - they are in Hong Kong, which IMHO has the highest paid teaching jobs in this region. 100K + HKD / month is not unheard of.
Naturally, living costs are higher and other factors have to be taken into consideration as well, not just salary. But in terms of highest pay, Hong Kong is king. |
