In these long summer holidays I've been a bit more active in the Spain and France forums and have been happy to respond to posts with my take on things.
I don't know if this has happened to anyone else but I've received a few private messages asking for general advice about working in these two countries. I'd prefer that general questions were posted in the appropriate forum so other people could have input (or get the benefit) of the thread. I sometimes get the feeling that people don't want the advice to be shared( and therefore have some perceived advantage) but I don't think that's what the PM utility is for.
Lastly, how difficult is it for people to say thank you! This really annoys me as I've taken my own time to offer the best advice I can. If you don't like my advice or don't think it's useful, you could at least acknowledge it.
