Now you look on dubizzle and subtract your estimated housing cost from the salary stated and you decide if it is worth it. Just as a point of interest, my housing allowance is 16,000 AED a month. I don't live in Dubai, but you get the picture. |

There are flats for much less than 16,000 AED/month; however, the OP has to factor in his initial out-of-pocket deposit and rental costs since housing isn't covered in the deal. Then there are his expenses for furnishings, household appliances, monthly utilities/Internet, groceries, transportation, entertainment...  |
