This looks like a good job. http://www.eslcafe.com/jobs/china/index.cgi?read=35949

Plus you can earn extra online and by working at another school.

Not horrible, but there are no holidays, full time work, and it seems it would be stressful. They also list the pay in USD which is annoying as it shifts from day to day.

"Prospective teachers should have a positive attitude toward teaching children."

I see this as a deal breaker.

I now get paid in GBP - I see it as a good thing, and my prediction is that it will bet better in years to come. Anyway the USD hardly ever changes much day to day - with the exception of the manipulated 4 % devaluation a couple of months back

I used to get paid in GBP and can tell you the change from 10.5 to 9 was rather annoying. The fluctuations and the fact that foreigners cannot convert currency online really gets me pissed if I am dealing with something other than CNY.

Monthly pay equals 13,270.44 CNY. Not terrible; not great. But, the overtime if it's a lot could top you up though.
