My response had not been to a link to The Times. Do you believe one substantiates the others?
Citing anecdotes from any source as evidence the sky is falling is either ignorance or base.
I worked in the ME for three years. Across a range of topics, my estimation of its practices is not high. But the vast majority of people on planet earth just want a job and the love of family. And, you know, not be blown up or shot. Whackos foisting their dogma on others will be some number of the refugees given the size of the migration and may their expulsion be swift and with as little drama or tragedy as possible.
But, no, given a gift for metaphors and rational observation, you'd rather conclude nations states have signed their own death warrants. |
