How does Moonraven have the time and money to write 2 books, defend Oaxacan culture, Marcos, give hippie clothes to Mexican children and also teach???? She also seems to be spending a lot of time in internet cafes? Perhaps she is on the PRD's payroll.

I'd say if she has time to do all that, more power to her. I'll probably be hanging out in the plaza with my beer or something, while all sorts of nefarious political things are happening in the real world.

I don't agree with everything moonraven says (or with everything mixtecamike says), but if people are out there doing something they believe in that's much better than I can usually muster

The thing i didn't understand was the comment that "if it's good enough for me, it's good enough for you," when if that was taken literally it would mean we should all get our own offices with our own computers.

I'd be glad to live in moonraven's Communist state if it had that kind of luxury .

I have some further comments on another thread, because I think this is getting beyond laptops.
