Why is that bad news?
It's currently limited, they are asking for more space.
No-one has said 'no' yet.

Do you realize a form of animal population control is to apply pesticides and poison to outdoor areas? I don't know if "dedicated areas" would be exempt. As you probably know, spaying/neutering are considered ha-ram. A colleague's pup ingested some toxin in a grassy area and died of poisoning according to the vet's examination. (The colleague was out of town and the dog sitter had no idea this could happen.) I don't think canines are on the top of the list with respect to "rights."

Yet another reason I teach Middle Easterners outside of their native habitats. On my territory, we don't poison animals in public spaces.

You are selective about which creatures you kill. I suspect cockroaches and rats get short shrift !

I have never killed a rat:-)
And thankfully no cockroaches in my world either. But I take your point; I don't consider All Animals Equal. My bad Embarassed

Now that you mention it, a number of Café members have mysteriously disappeared. Laughing
