I am going to be working for an International School in Riyadh.

An electric sandwich maker is something you put a sandwich into and it toasts it. Yummy.

I think I will take your advice and sell my stuff and buy everything over there...its just that it was all so new.

I'm not worried about the political climate. I have been to Pakistan and its much much worse over there, there are people that will rob and kill you at almost every pass there -especially if you are a westerner. Haters can be found everywhere. We have more than our fair share right here at home. The chances of being robbed, mugged, assaulted, knifed, shot etc are pretty high around here -of course, it depends on how careful you are. I had a college friend who was stabbed through the heart on the street in broad daylight. I know of at least 3 shootings near my area just this year. It goes on.

well
some of us are even thinking about going back to KSA.

Crazy ? I had a look at the job market - meven experienced it.

Will take my chance in KSA in return for that nice tax-free salary in a reasonable teaching environment

It is also a way to escape from "Her Indoors" and her tyranny !
