Hi,
When do the universities and private secondary schools start up after the holidays?

Once on the ground, is it best to go to university language depts. and seek out the chair? I'm wondering if anyone will be around before the first day of class?

Has anyone had any luck finding and sending email to language dept. chair?

I'm not certain on universities, but private primary and secondary schools start up on Thursday, January 7th.

There's more variety in universities. Some will start back Jan 7th, some later in the month, some not till Feb. Some of those starting on the 7th or even a few days earlier won't be starting a new semester. Those starting later probably are starting a new semester.
