Now that the semester is ending, students are turning in essays late. When you have several students turning in 6 or 8 essays late, it gets on your nerves.
One student decided to push his luck by telling me to mark all his essays on the spot and record them in my records. Now, this student is (how shall I put this?) is F'N retarded. Mind you, this is the medical program in a university. Can you see why you don't want a Saudi doctor? However, all the other students & faculty indulge thiis POS into thinking he can be a productive member of society.
Fortunately, my dept. chair told POS that the faculty have a demanding job that requires more time to record grades.
This place plays fast & loose with attendance records, so the student's behavior should not be such a surprise, but I'm firmly convinced that KSA has MASSIVE karma coming to it, and it won't be pleasant.
