| My work visa expires very soon. I don't have another job but want to travel for a few weeks after the expiration date. Can I get a short extension at immigration? Thanks for the reply. [/b] |

| Probably, have you tried asking them? I think you can get an extension of a few months anyway for job-hunting. |

It used to be that you could cancel your work visa and get a tourist visa (without leaving the country). |

| You can still change over to a tourist visa and from what I understand it's not that difficult. |
