I have been offered a job with a "governemnt" run recrutiting company. I don't know if they are really government institution. I think they are a private company which hires foreign teachers and then sends them to public schools. Do you guys know exactly how?
By the way, I have been offered a job with a company called: beijing chaoyang district vocational education industry cooperation center. Do you know guys know them? They offered me 25 hours a week for a salary of 17,500 (Pre-tax). Is this a good deal?
Thanks |

I've encountered these types of organisations at Education Fairs and had thought they represented 'hard to staff' provinces. Not so in this case, it seems.
The big issue in BJ would be accommodation.
Suggest you run their offer past the offer checklist thread.
When I spoke to a guy from one of these companies at BJ Fair a few years ago I wasn't sure if the offer/Z visa was from the company or the individual schools.
Another vital point would be to ensure all teaching is on one site. |
