Lets say a person makes about 7 million yen for 2 years at the age of 35. How much roughly will this person get per month in unemployment insurance?
I know the total also depended on the situation of the person, but I'm looking for a rough estimate here.
Also, lets say this person need to leave Japan for awhile(2-3months) to go back to home country to find job, will we still get paid while s/he is not in Japan? |

With Hello Work you have to show up once a month to state what jobs you have applied for in Japan.
At the most you could go back to your country for 2-3 weeks, but you still need to at least apply to a couple jobs per month, and if you get a job offer you should mention it.
I only got money for 3 months when I was unemployed and that is after working for 13 years straight. |

Thanks for the reply. How much roughly will I get per month? Lets say a person makes about 8 million yen per hear(before tax) for 2 years at the age of 35. How much roughly will this person get per month in unemployment insurance?

The last 6 months are the important amount here - plus you wind up hitting maximums. According to the internet, on 7 mln yen per year, you'd get around 200,000 yen per month. |
