Dear sheikh,
Tsk, tsk - you have to remember at all times that plumpy nut's experiences in Saudi MUST to applicable to anyone who has ever taught or will ever teach there.
Shame on you.
Regards,
John |

I have been offered jobs in China that would interest me until I take tax out. I would MUCH prefer to go to China |
Frankly, China is a better deal for you. It seems quite a few teachers tutor on the side to make those extra earnings. Head to the China forum to see about opportunities that fit your qualifications. |
Are you bored with me? lol
China is not much better than the money I make in Thailand now. However, if I can earn 13,500 RMB after tax then that would be OK; as long as I could earn 7,000RMB in overtime. Doesn't seem likely, but I will ask the question on the China forum |

If the OP wants to PM me, feel free.
I have been to both places and now claim that both places have a wide range of jobs and salaries.
I make more in China than in the KSA but my ave hourly rate is highest in the KSA.
If you can sit inside and be alone for days on end, the KSA is for you. I worked 3-4 hours a day for less than 26 weeks of the year.
If u need some entertainment, dont go there. |
Can I PM you? I am interested in knowing if I can make good money in private lessons and overtime. I can double my wages easily in Thailand, and I am wondering if China is similar |

No, I'm not bored with you. It's sort of pointless to discuss or ask about China jobs on a Mid East forum. Head east, young man. (Or scroll up on the forums.) |

Bashing Saudis is reasonable. |
No,it isnt. It´s reasonable to be critical of many features of the KSA. I´ve done it often. It is stupid to bash people simply for their nationality. Here in Spain many people think that the citizens of the USA are all overweight, uncultured, ignorant cretins who live on hamburgers and nothing else. I would say that your view of Saudis is on the same lines. |
