Hi,

Does anyone know anything about this kindergarten that has a horrible typo in the name?

It's in Shunde, Guangdong Province.

Thanks!

Actually, I am pretty familiar with SHUNDE, which is a county-level town consisting of several townships and now merged with Foshan.
If you give me more details - exact location - I can possibly give you feedback.
Meanwhile, I must say I do know many kindergartens but none that has such a stupendous name.
I suggest you go for DALIANG, capital of the whole of Shunde. Nice little town with just about everything you might want to find - western amenities as well as Chinese traditions.
But there also are quite a number of pirate operators - training centres! There recently was cutthroat competition - I don't know the outcome except that some have vanished.

Hi, thanks Roger!

I've been contacted by a recruiter working for the kindergarten, and they passed on the kindergarten's website: http://sdjy.sc168.com.cn

There is an English section which says more about the school and the classes. The school sounds like it's pretty big.

It sounds pretty nice to me, but I dunno much about this lark!

Thanks for any input you might have to offer!

Really? I've looked at it without problem. Just now, I've clicked on the hyperlink from my previous post and it's opened fine. Maybe try again?

The website doesn't seem to have typos - just the recruiter I guess. Anyway the address is:

Shunde Bureaucratic Kindergarten
No. 3 Dangui Road
Daliang Town
Shunde City
Guangdong 528300
Peoples Republic of China

Which is in Daliang as you suggested. Anything you might be able to tell me is welcome!

I know Dangui Lu; it must be a new outfit. I recommend circumspection.

About 2 years ago, there was a HK-invested kindergarten in downtown Daliang; they were run professionally, or so I thught.
But they didn't last. I suppose precisely because the relatively tiny Daliang market cannot support an internationally-operated kindergarten.
I take this opportunity to warn you off any contact with Angela of Guang-an training centre fame; there are several businesses like this, and only one or two trweat their foreign staff respectfully though none can hire you legally. Angela is probably the worst offender.
Her partner split off from her and started up a competing business; she would be able to hire you legally but I have formed the impression she is not a nice employer either.
