I just want to ask if there is a program that I can install in the office that would basically do the monitoring whether a task is completed. i hate it when some people would not submit their reports on time and would cause delays. I am looking for something that provides the control, process automation and reporting visibility to eliminate the need for continuous follow-ups.

I am really stressed these past few weeks because of this. So please, I really need your opinion on this. Thanks!

Or a content management system like Microsoft SharePoint since it seems the OP's business doesn't include teaching. Confused

What sort of delays?

If you're a teacher, and students don't submit reports on time, this is surely a favourable situation for you as you don't have to read them.

There's a trial software I used, ebooktrial I think it was called, but I couldn't understand it.

We're running a marketing firm and submitting files and reports greatly impact the outcome and growth of our company. It's hard to monitor employees even when a deadline and guides are set. Haven't tried MS SharePoint yet as of now we're using drop box in the office but are looking to get quality management software that specializes in monitoring workloads, reports, as well as training completions.

It's not that people in our company are lazy, some of the files and reports get lost in the system but we're not entirely sure why so we need something that can provide us with organization and schedule monitoring. we've been looking to get either Verse or ETQ for our qms software, we haven't entirely made up our minds yet. Any software you can recommend that functions the same way?

Trina:

This is a site focusing on ESL/EFL and not mainstream businesses. You're not going to find the type of technical answers you're seeking here. Besides, there are probably teachers on this forum still having to use chalkboards. (Hey, Hod! I want my pink chalk back, dude! Laughing )

That said, I've worked in corporate, so... I think SharePoint might be a better choice for your quality management needs. Google quality management SharePoint for what's available and to ask the various systems providers for live demos of their products.

Set up a server and a web interface for submission. This is not the place to go into this, but it might be handy for teachers accepting electronic submissions.
