For me, that has been its primary use. In the past, I worked for universities that paid salaries in cash but did not remit taxes.The FEC was necessary for making bank transactions. Since my schools did not remit taxes, the FEC was pretty much worthless for anything except for identification.
I haven't received my new FEC yet, so I have no idea what purpose it is intended to serve now.
I'll sooner carry the FEC than my passport any day. |

You dont need no passport or fec to go into a Hilton hotel
or any other hotel for that matter. You just walk into any hotel
anywhere |
