I am interested in grad school but in renewable energy where China is the work leader.

Has anyone studied in fields outside ESL?

Assume you want tuition in English?
This might be helpful.

A friend worked (ESL) here and I don't recall any negatives - other of course than the sh**ty air.

Assume you mean 'world' leader.
Not sure where you got your figures.
But I guess China has most to gain from improving its renewables generation.

Are you referring to a university program in China or one at a western university that focuses on forms of renewal energy that are big in China? Confused

Anyway, the problem with getting a master's degree in the sciences is that your undergrad degree generally is required to be in a related field. In other words, you're expected to further develop your skills and knowledge in the field via a master's degree. However, there are exceptions: for example, Penn State's MPS in Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems.
