Does anyone have recent experience of the 3 stage legalisation process (Notarisation, FCO legalisation and legalisation by UK Chinese Embassy) required for documents (education certs and DBS check) to submit to the Uni I plan to work for in China, for my visa application? I am trying to work out the least expensive way of getting this done...... |

3 stage process. If you do find a way to do it on the cheap, it would be good to share.
Teachers on TES swear that they have been able to get a solicitor to notarise for ten quid a doc, but the quotes I got were 'ahem' a little higher.
Found it cheaper to get a company to do the notarising and FCO part, and then I took the certs to the Chinese embassy in London myself. That certainly saved a bundle over getting them or the notary to do this step. |
