Been told I must get my certificates, medical check report, non crim record other docs notarized at the Chinese embassy. Does this mean I have to post my original certificates and a non crim record that will cost £65 to China? The Foreigner physical examination form even confuses the med staff here in my own Country (UK)
This is adding up to a headache. |

The Chinese Embassy isn't in China. It will be in the capital city of your country of origin. Consulates may process Z visas too.
The med certificate has been the subject of much comment over the years.
My Dr wrote 'normal' in any slot he couldn't identify and plastered his stamp all over. |

I am in UK. My worry is posting my certificates from the UK to China, they are irreplaceable. Still have to get Med / Crim record done. Even though i am on the Update service in UK its not fine for China. |

1) Notarise doc at solicitor
2) Send to FCO to apostille
3) Take to Chinese embassy to legalise (they check the FCO apostilles are genuine)
Search apostille service on google to find companies who will do this for you. |

Your certification is not irreplaceable unless it's in a very specific case. If you graduated in the last thirty years you can get a replacement from your uni for about thirty quid |
