Hi Everyone,
As a thought experiment, I'm curious as to what you guys think would be the best ESL training for a student with a high level of motivation and a very large budget?
I'm guessing those CELTA trainers would make the best teachers out there because they take their job very seriously.
Your thoughts? |

That's yet another impossibly broad question and far more parameters would need to be defined to give a useful answer. It's the same case as your earlier thread asking about a 'step-by-step learning plan that will work for everyone.'
What is the students' age, educational background, first language? All these things directly impact 'best training.' What is his/her motivation - why does s/he need and want English? Also vital to know.
Very very generally if a student can afford to move to an Anglophone country, that's the best training of all. |

I'm thinking... Yet another bizarre question from you.
It's unclear what you're asking. ESL training for a student in relation to trainers in a CELTA program? |

I'm just asking what are the best ESL programs in the world for a student. I understand "it depends". But, I'm guessing a few gain renown.
I simply would like ideas, etc. to know what makes the best ones great. |

How dare you not confine yourself to and wholeheartedly agree with the assumptions made in the OP, Scot. HOW. DARE. YOU! |
