I posted this on China forum too.
My friend who I was teaching in Wuhan with last term is now in Taiwan. he has come back to Wuhan for a few days to hook up etc. When he came back he said he could no longer access his chinese bank account, which he had left around 800 yuan in. He now reckons that anyone going abroad from China has their account frozen. Is this true - or is it just people moving to Taiwan?
Can anyone enlighten me on this matter?

Chinese banks are run by Chinese bankers.
A fool and his money....
I am sorry to hear this has happened to you but it has happened in Taiwan as well. Employers will do the same thing.
Good luck,
A. |
